We would like to share a bit of our backstory and the meaning behind the name of our farm. July 2023, my parents went to be with their Savior as the result of a car accident. I said from the start that this horrible situation would be used for God’s Kingdom. My mom and I had discussed for years to connect her cake business with a flower business and be a whole packaged deal. Unfortunately, we never got that opportunity. I’ve been wanting to pull the trigger on this business for a few years now, but I instantly knew that the timing of everything is always perfect- and this was no different. Honoring my mother and following in our shared loves for flowers is something so near and dear to my heart— and now I have the chance to share this with all of you.. what an honor and privilege to provide for you.

My mom used to sing a song to us as children, and also to her grandchildren that went, “I love you a bushel and a peck, and a hug around the neck” It was the perfect fit- we farm, and corn and soybeans and other produce is measured in bushels— and the song is something our 3 year old continues to sing as we remember Gigi.

So as our story continues to unfold, I know many of you have your own stories and connections to flowers as well.
